Dub and I arrived in Italy. We have blue skies, and it's hot.. hot..hot
A big difference to the cold weather we left behind, in good old Blighty. We are on the coach now, heading for our hotel in Mestre (just over the water from Venice).
The Hotel Plaza in Mestre is well deserved of it's four stars, and is conveniently placed, opposite the Railway Station. A ticket to Venice from here will cost you 6 Euros (March 2013).
Tomorrow we will head into Venice for the day as the weather forecast is looking good. We seem to have stuck gold as regards to the weather, as the forecast for the next few days is sun, sun, and more sun.

We were also very lucky to have witnessed a wonderful performance by the Chorale universitaire de Louvain who suddenly appeared in the Piazza San Marco (known in English as St Marks Square) Venice.
