And happy Passover, unless you’re concerned about all the children God murdered in the Old Testament when he couldn’t tell the difference between Jews and Egyptians all by himself. 
Bible stories are truly horrible.
Presumably, God could have redeemed our sins without the vicious murder of a scapegoat if he’d wanted to - he is God, after all - and he could have just bumped the Pharoah off rather than sending ten plagues to everyone in Egypt just to show how nasty he was.
Still, at least we get a four day holiday
out of it.
