If John Lennon was alive.

If John Lennon was alive would things be the same as they are now?

If John Lennon was alive would he speak out? Would we listen?

I think we would. I think that the return of that Prodigal Son would revitalise the spirit of humans everywhere. And in a way, John Lennon is alive.

John Lennon lives on through human history not as orthadox religion, but part of a music culture that can build fragmentary glimpses of not only the past, but also the future. John Lennon knew how the world really works. He stepped outside the confines of learned culture and learned reality and became an agent of revolution. John Lennon was a shamen because he went into the domain of the ideas and brought back, in the form of his music, insights and visions of unclosed boundaries. He challenged the tradition of dominator culture and challenged society to be more.

We live with our past. We live as part of both our past, and, our future.

John Lennon is alive
